Delete your Circlo account

Delete it in the app

1. Open Circlo and tap your picture at the top left to open the menu.
2. Tap Settings, then scroll to Delete account.
3. Type your handle to confirm and tap Delete my account.

Can’t open the app?

If you no longer have the app or can’t sign in, emailprivacy@hellocirclo.com from any address with the subject “Delete my Circlo account” and your handle. Because Circlo has no email or phone number on your account, we will ask you to prove the account is yours by signing in on any phone, or by using your 24-word recovery phrase in the app, before we delete it. We never ask for your password or your phrase by email.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes from our servers:

• your account, handle, keys and key backups, and your devices;
• your profile, your address book and circles, and your connections and blocks;
• your posts, photos and videos, replies and likes;
• your chats and chat media.

Deletion happens immediately and can’t be undone. Copies already on other people’s phones (for example a message they received) stay on their phones. Reports you sent are kept for safety reasons but are no longer linked to you; see thePrivacy Policy.
